Anal cancer is an unusual type of cancer that occurs in the anal canal. Anal cancer is a condition in which cancerous cells are formed within the tissues of the anus which is the last portion of the gastrointestinal tube. It occurs rarely but extremely lethal in its nature. The anal canal is a short tube at the end of your rectum, through which the faces leave your body. The signs and symptoms of anal cancer are the bleeding and anal pain. Most people with anal cancer receive a combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Although the combination of cancer treatments increases the chances of recovery, combined treatments also increase the risk of side effects.
