Ichthyosis vulgaris is an inherited disorder of the skin in which dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin in the form of thick, dry scales. Scales of ichthyosis Vulgaris, sometimes called fish-scale diseases or corneal diseases, may be present at birth but are most often found in early childhood. Sometimes mild cases of ichthyosis Ichthyosis vulgaris is an inherited disorder of the skin in which dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin in the form of thick, dry scales. As it is a hereditary disorder so no exact treatment is reported for this ailment but lactic acid and retinoid drugs are prescribed to lowers the severity of symptoms.
