Melanoma is a medical term referred for cancer which arises from the pigment-containing cells of the skin named as melanocytes. This cancer typically occurs in the skin but may also affect the mouth, intestines, or eye. Identifying signs of melanoma are following
Changes in the shape or color of existing moles.
New mole appearance which increasing in size.
Appearance of a new lump anywhere on the skin.
Mole having itch, ulcerate or bleed
Best treatment option is removal by surgery. But if it is malignant and has spread to others part so immunotherapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy may help to improve the survival rate.
