How can I find treatment of Sciatica?

Sciatica refers to pain radiating along the sciatic nerve, which branches from the lower back to the hips and buttocks and along each leg. Sciatica affects only one side of the body. Sciatica most commonly occurs when a herniated disc, a spinal column in the spine, or a narrowing of the spine (spinal stenosis) compresses part of the nerve. This leads to inflammation, pain and often numbness in the affected leg. Although pain associated with sciatic pain can be severe, most cases of non-surgical treatment disappear within a few weeks.
