Uveitis is an eye inflammation disorder which affects the middle layer in the eye. This inflammatory condition may affect one or both eyes. In most of the cases it happens by an unknown reason but some possible causes of this may be infection, injury, or an autoimmune or inflammatory disease. It is diagnosed by following signs;
- Eye redness and pain
- Light sensitivity
- Blurred vision
- Dark, floating spots in field of vision
- Decreased vision
Uveitis can be dangerous as it may leads to permanent vision loss. Early diagnosis and treatment can to prevent from this loss. Treatment may include antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs.
