My daughter was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3 years by reputable Autism Specialists and Speech Therapists in different Hospitals. The diagnosed problems was complex and very shocking to us. Allah helped. Fortunately, I brought my daughter to Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq. Her initial diagnosis seemed very simple, but had hopes for us. So, my daughter started takings regular sessions from Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq. Within 2 weeks, she started responding, started sitting in room and uttered her first word "Ap.." for Apple. Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq gave us hope, that it is not Autism, and her response is good. InshAllah she will be fine soon. My family tried to convince me to consult higher specialists, but i was convinced with the methodology of Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq. In 5 to 6 months of regular sessions, my daughter started speaking phrases. She started giving response, following commands. Her attention span improved as well. Then, on recommendation of Ms. Tehreem, for group sessions, I admitted my daughter in an institute, and now, Alhamdulillah my daughter is studying in Pre-Nursery class as a normal girl and performing very well in school activities. In fact, she speaks too much now :) . Personally, I am very inspired by the temperament, dedication, methodology and gentle and caring nature of Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq. A good speech therapist needs a lot of patience and concern without loosing temperament, to accept the child with autistic features and getting involved at the mind level of the child, and gently bring him/her up and assist in observing and learning things in correct ways. Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq has such capabilities MashAllah. During sessions, she also guided me to repeat sessions at home. I did it and found better and earlier results. I will always remain thankful to Ms. Tehreem Ishtiaq. She is the first teacher of my daughter. Her words are simple, her nature is gentle, and she is a very good "practical" speech therapist.
