Asking for Mother, Female, 52 years old, karachi

My mother had her piles operation on 30th November.. she had this problem since 10 years and that thing got worst and because alot of bleeding so dr. Said to operate it immediately.. uske baad dr. Ne lab test k liye bhejwa dia.. Report aai hai to dr. Said its not very good, Its wasn't cancer Alhamdulliah but we have to be done colonoscopy and MIR. We want second opinion because its mention in report that the thing is completely removed

It is not clear from your description what exactly was the problem. Why
would the doctor recommend colonoscopy and MRI if he/she was sure there was
no cancer? Kindly visit with your mother with her medical record for a

My apologies for the earlier reply. I just saw the attachments. Yes I agree
the type of tumor they have removed, while itself benign, represents a
high risk for development of cancer in the large intestine. Colonsocopy
should help assess the entire intestine and remove any suspicious lesions.

In my opinion, the decision for CT/MRI should be taken after a full colonoscopy.

Your mother probably had not piles, she was actually having polyp, which
caused bleeding ,
She definitely needs colonoscopy,you can come to me for second opinion , at
Ammar medical complex , 8 jail road,at 7.30 pm, all days except sat and
Sunday
Further treatment , will be decided after. Colonoscopy

Kindly follow your doctor ,get colonoscopy to look for any other polyps or
suspicious areas in the colon or rectum and also CT /MRI .get second
opinion after colonoscopy..noone can guide u without it ....ideally your
surgeon should have gone colonoscopy before rectal polyp excision but if it
has happened now go for colonoscopy ..thanks
