My brother wants laser treatment for his eyes but the thickness of his eye layer is about 488.what type or laser treatment is safe for him
488 thickness is of what area. Is it central corneal thickness or peripheral. Upload the image of Pentacam/ Galileo Scan.
Your refractive surgeon is best one to advise you after you corneal test and no of glasses you are using (myopia ) . As a general rule if he is wearing a no between -3 to -4 then with corneal thickness of 488 he can be a candidate for LASIK refractive surgery

My brother eye sight number is -6.75 for left eye and -7.25 for right eye. Central cornial thickness is 488. He is not diabetic. His age is 28 years.
Can you please suggest which treatment would be suitable and comparitively safe for my brother. PRK or Femto LASIK.
