Asking for Wife, Female, 28 years old, Karachi
Pt is having ist pregnancy. Previous one was an early misscarriage at week 6. Today, USG showed small subchorionic hemorrhage which has made us worried. Why it happens and how long will it take to resolve? What safety measures need to be taken?
2nd ques is that Gestational age by ultrasound is 6 week 6 days while as per LMP it should be 8 week 1 day. Is this difference normal?

sub chorionic hge means tht she has bled-it can end up in early MC all the safety measures right from bed rest to progesterone support and BHCG shud b administered...
she might b mistaken wth her dates-or she might hv concieved later in the cycle-if ethg is going fine then v can giv these two reasons fr POG discrepancy...
all the best...

Was. Thanks for your response.
Pt has no vaginal bleeding so far. Does it mean she will eventually have vaginal bleeding/spotting? Or through proper care it will regress. We don't know the size of subchorionic hge dr just mentioned it's small. Should we wait for 6 weeks or have another scan in between? How long it usually takes to settle?
