yes this is possible,u are having false labour pains.. if u have previous vaginal births( os can be multiparous) so keep urself well hydrated,mobilize urself..

Erratic contractions for 24 or more hours must not be left un_assessed.
Get ur fetal hearts checked by CTG and also observe fetal movements . Five days passed repeat pelvic assessment should be done.
