Talk to Gynecologist on Pain In Lower Abdomen

I feel current type pain in my lower abdomen, coming from the upper left side of my vagina. It comes on intervals. I have been facing it since few months. When it happens, it's there for as long as one day even . Please guide me as what could be the possible reason ? Planning to visit a doc soon but has been stuck badly. I'm married for 11 years and have 2 kids
