Its been almost 6 weeks to my delivery and the postpartum bleeding had almost ended last week but now aince last two days, I am noticing brown watery foul smelling discharge. Is it normal? Please note that one episiotomy stitch is still healing and the area pains a little when I sit.

-Dear it would be better if u would have high vaginal swab, one local examination for healing of Epixiotomy.
-if not Epixiotomy well and foul smelling discharge from vagina better to have tab augmenting 625 mgs 8 hrly and tab metronidazole 400mgs 8 hrly for 7 days.
-have sitz warm baths and olive oil massage frequently recurrently in a day.
-have complete treatment of any health issue u have.
-balanced diet, plenty of water and daily light Exercise.

If it’s fowl smelling then it may be vaginal infection. Get your swab test done for culture and your doctor will take sample of discharge.
U need to see ur gynaecologist to see any infection in ur episiotomy wound, other possibilities are of infection or ur periods, becoz u can have ur periods after 6 weeks , only examination will rule out things
