person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 28 years old, Sharjah

Assalam u Alayikum! I need advice from dietitian. I am 19 weeks pregnant and my weight is 66kg, while at the time of conceiving I was 54kg. My hunger increased to a significant extent even during my first month so I eat a lot. I eat only whole foods and avoid junk. I eat roti and eggs in breakfast, roti, salan (it includes protein too) and salad in lunch, and bread and cheese in dinner. Additionally, I eat half handful of nuts, 3-4 fruits, 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup milk, 1-2 shami kababs. During night when I get up for washroom I. Hungry, I eat 2 bananas with a few hours apart. I am taking supplements too. My total calories intake is around 2000, while before pregnancy I used to eat around 1500 kcals. I can't stand for long or walk for for more than 10 mins because I have pelvic pain. Please let me know if this much weight gain is not a problem, otherwise what can I do to manage it? Waiting for your response. Thank you.
