My wife 07 month pregnant. Diagnosed with GDM in 06 month. Anomaly scan was pergectly fine. Alhamdulilah. Ogtt test report was out of range means not good at all. Started with glucophage thrice a day but all efforts in vain. Now started insulin of 6 unit before main meals three times a day and 20unit at 11 pm daily.
She is 32 week and weight is still 57 kg only not increasing. Pls help
Yes sometimes diabetics iether increase too much in body weight n sometimes
no increase at all.So far thr doctor treating her is satisfied u dont worry.
You may discuss this problem in detail with her doctor. Its a tough task to control blood sugar levels in some patients during pregnancy and needs almost daily check.
She is working towards controlling her levels.
You can ask her to involve a diabetes specialist as well.
