Talk to Gynecologist on Intercourse

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Islamabad

Been married 8 months now. I find intercourse painful during entry. Later the pain gradually goes away with movement but initial insertion is displeasing and painful. The first time was extremely difficult and we had to try many times. I have to take control and take it really slow for entry. Otherwise the pain scares me. Is entry the same for all? After how many times/weeks of intercourse should it stop paining? I don't let my husband take control due to the pain and I have become a bit fearful of the process now. No issues with my natural wetness, we also use some oil at times. After entry I have to breath deep and relax my body to make the movement not-painful. Is this normal? I always thought it is glide and smooth for others, why not me. Please advice.
