Talk to Gynecologist on Ovulation Pains

I have a son of age 2.7 years. Im trying to conceive for the secnd one. Its been 9 months and frm that time im starting having ovulation pains evry month. Sometimes they are mild and sometimes not. I went to Pakistan and got the checkup. Dr. Said I have some kind of follicle issue thats why m not being able to conveive. He prescribed me Nolvadex med for this. Its been 3 mnths that im taking that med but no affect. I just want to know that is it normal to have ovulation pains?
