Hello I am 11weeks pregnant and since two days I am experiencing light to medium brown mucus discharge without any pain and itching. The discharge is not much. Just for few minutes in a day. I rushed to my doctor and she examined through transvaginal ultrasound. She could see the heartbeat. She examined the fluid and said there is no visible reason for the discharge.. this mucous is still disturbing me and I am not sure what should I do. I need help from any Gyneacologist.
You should try to rest as much as possible, avoiding hard work and go for a follow up with your gynecologist in a week . As long as your doctor examined you and there is a heart beat , hopefully everything would be fine.

Thank you so much for you concern. Unfortunately I am not in Pakistan. I live in Germany. The Gyneacologists here are not so much concerned about saving pregnancies in first trimester. She did my ultrasound and saw the heart beat. She didn't ask me for any rest or medicine nor is there any progesterone doses available here. I am just feeling helpless. I don't have any pain or bleeding. I have normal nausea and pregnancy vomittings. I had this discharge only for two days just for few minutes. I am just taking care by resting as much as I can. I have no clue ????

salam dr mjy ap se yeh puchna hai k mairi shadi ko ak saal hony ko hai mjy priods inreguler aty thy ain ak gynocologist ko check krwayaunki madicn se theak hogye periods but main periods k doran unki di hui madicn use ki 5days ki phr 12rwen un k kehny pr ultrasaund krwaya for number of folicle aur wo altrasaound normal thi 19 mm rt overy thi in size.....but us dr ki trasfer lahor hogai hai main whan ja ni skti ak aur mbbs dr thi whan unhon ny I V F ka injection lgye 2 waqfy wqfy se aur dupbastonki madicn 2 hafty ki di aur pehly wali dr ny inofolic ased ki saches diye thy ye khti henap wo b istmall krr lo pr main jb khati hon sari rat din ko uljhn aur bechain c hoti hai apkya khti hen main ye khati rhon koi side effect to ni hai naaa

Thanks a lot. I forgot to mention that 2days before this discharge started, I had cervix examination by my doctor which was very painful. I don't know the medical term for that procedure but she placed her fingers inside and examined the cervix lining and said "it's ok". She noted the ph which was 4! Can that brown mucus be because of that irritation as it was very painful for me.

Yes it is possible that you got this bleeding and discharge due to cervix examination. Anyways if you are having all your pregnancy symptoms like nausea and vomiting it is a good sign which means your baby is growing well. Also continue taking rest and next time you go to your doctor do mention that you would not want internal examination unless very necessary as your cervix might be slightly injured from previous examination and may need some time to heal.

Yes I am fine now it happened for almost 5 to 10 mins per day for two days. There is no discharge or pain or itching. Just that normal pregnancy nausea and vomitting. Thank you.
