Talk to Gynecologist on Spotting 6 Weeks Pregnant

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, Karachi

Im 6 weeks pregnant with no nausea or morning sickness, is it normal? Yesterday i experienced some blood (red) on toilet paper while wiping. No more bleeding after that. Im already taking duphaston twice a day for 2 weeks as prescribed by my gyne when i visited her a week ago. Should i rush to the hospital emergency right now? Bcz its not easy to get her appointment immidiately and my next appointment is after 2 weeks. Is it normal to spot? My hcg levels at 5 weeks were 2434miu as in attached report

I agree absolutely spot on . No panic unless more bleeding or pain and ultrasound is suggested to confirm pregnancy is viable and intrauterine . A bit of spotting can be a common thing at this stage of pregnancy

My ultrasound is on 31st May as recommended by my gyne in last visit. Should i get it done now or wait 2 weeks?

It’s better to get a TVS done . Otherwise if u don’t have pain it’s no emergency . Spotting is not normal .

you might find this link helpful and reassuring .Not all bleedings/spottings are serious at this stage of pregnancy off course it is imperative to rule out potential serious .https://www.babycentre.co.uk/a3081/vaginal-spotting-or-bleeding-in-early-pregnancy
