i have got my pelvis ultrasound done cus i had severe unbearable pain on periods days since ages, i wanted to know about the report, if its safe or do i need any treatment. Other than the normal measurement it says 'A small hypoechoic lesion measuring 18×12 mm is seen in posterior wall of uterus' conclusion: Small uterine fibroid
If you are unmarried and get the pain during periods since the time you started your periods it is normal as most young unmarried girls suffer from pain during periods, in some it is very severe, but once you get married and have children the pain goes away on its own. Some home remedies like applying warm water bottle over the lower abdomen may help with pain. If very severe taking a pain killer like Brufen or ponstan can also help. But if this pain is something new and a recent complain then you must need to be checked by your doctor to find out the cause. For the ultrasound if you show the written report it would be helpful but a small fibroid is nothing to worry and just need follow up with ultrasound so that it is not increasing in size. If the size does not increase and there is no other symptoms like heavy bleeding, it does not need any treatment.

you are right regarding home remedies but none of them have been effective since last few months, before it used to get better with just a single pain killer but now its different. i am attaching the report, would be thankful if you could assist me after that too
