Having on n off uti infection since February again experiencing itching n burning n back pain my dr prescribed me augmentin 625mg twice a day for 9 days as I'm put of town but I hv augmentin 625mg with can I take it for 3 days plz advise me as I'm out of country right now n can't able to contact my gynae
If you only have augmentin for 3 days take it but sometimes incomplete antibiotic course causes re infection and later more difficult to treat. Also you may need a urine culture but since at the moment you don't have acess to your doctor you should juat take the antibiotic, drink plenty of fluids and water and see your doctor when ever possible.
