I am having a severe right leg pain starting from bottom till foot. Since my MRI report for Dorso Lumbar shows multi disc foraminal stenosis (report attached). Now I am wondering this pain might be result of pinching of sciatic nerve. Also, taking gabapentin and pregablin would help my nerve pain to be diminished?

Just to add more information, I am diabetic and hypertensive patient. Taking sitamet and dioplus to control both respectively. Also taking aspirin per my cardiologist instructions. However, my neurosurgeon advised me to do lumbar puncture because of my abnormal (magentic) gate and he diagnosed me for normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), so according to him, draining 25 cc would help my gait problem. However, he didn't provided any medicine for my spinal stenosis and this recent pain in my right leg seemed to be related to sciatica. According to my research gabapentin or pregablin would be suitable to treat nerve pain. However, I am not confident about the dosage of the medicine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cool! Thanks I have started. However, the pain has been reduced but still there. Any suggestion about Gabapentin?

AOA, I have very bad sciatica pain in my both legs , could any one tell me where or to whom I can and should consult about it. I even can't talk these days due to it, I think I should done my mri but could you please tell me what kind of mri I should get done ?thanks
