I just got my foot sprained 2 days ago. .recently joined yoga classes now i cant move and using stick for walking till bathroom pain is bearable but cannot put weight

dear doctor, the traditional remedies including rest, ice packs, compression and elevation will help. More over start some analgesics and avoid heavy physical activities. Most commonly sprained ligament is anterior talofibular. Some surgeons advocate a cast for a couple of weeks however simple air cast brace is also helpful. if the pain persists for two weeks you might need a consultation.
