Asking For Someone Else, Female, 40 years old, Karachi
Our patient has been experiencing severe headaches since the past 5 or 6 months. Before that she had a mild depression and used often used sedatives like Alprazolams. But since the past 5 or 6 months, she experiences severe headaches beyond control of the the ordinary pain killers. We even use Voren Inj but to no avail mostly. We have consulted many doctors, most of them advised anti depressants. The patient had been on a slightly high dose of different anti depressant drugs for about two months now but still the severe headache persists. finally now the patient had begin to experience epilepsy like seizures due to this headache. Please advice and let us know of a good experienced doctor in Karachi. we will be very thankful to you.
Any CT or MRI done?.If she still has headache despite all exams and treatments she may have tension headache ,migraine or SSD (somatic symptom disorder).She need full evaluation and treatment.
It is important to know the duration of epileptic seizure please mention so
that i could suggest you in a better way.

Yes we have done CTs and a Head MRI and some blood tests. Apparently there's nothing in the tests. all tests are normal. A psychiatrist advised to admit the patient for a month, What would your advise be? Can a neuro physician help in our case? If you could please take time and explain possible solutions in your wise opinion. Thank you.
