Hi I have done my random sugar test(after 2 hours of meal) and it was 92. Should I need to check my Fasting sugar as well or no need of this?
a sugar level fasting below 100 is normal..do u have a family history of diabetes?
for pre diabetes random 125 is the value..
Your Random blood sugar is within normal limits. But you can still get a fasting blood sugar at least once, to be sure about blood sugar levels and maintaining your medical record for yourself. It will be more reassuring for you to have a normal fasting blood sugar level. Therefore you can go for fasting blood sugar level at least once. If it comes normal then there will be no need to repeat test.
No need to check gain
You do not need to check your fasting blood sugar level unless you have symptoms or complaints that may indicate a possibility of having diabetes.

First of All, If u r Diabetic or not ???
if u r taking Diabetes medicine, blood sugar is too much controled...
and if u r not Diabetic but there is History of Diabetes in ur Family members and u r Obese also then u r in Pre Diabetes Stage... means u r Prone to be Diabetic in next Future... as ur Blood Sugar Reflects U may be a Case of Hyper-Insulinemia.

No Family history, and 92 result is of Random sugar test.
