Aoa.My uncle was diagnosed as a c/o squamous cell CA Lt mandible with 1 x postive neck lymph node.mandibulectomy wd gross neck dissection was performed follwed by radiotherapy. Within 3 months post therapy, two lumps appeared on chest wall nd one cervical node showed stone hard lymohadenopathy.x ray chest shows Lt hilar mass( probably lymphadenopathy) nd u/s abdomen is normal.Now oncologist has started chemo, beginning from 50mg methotrexate weekly he has raised da dose to 120mg weekly on fourth appointment.patient is weak.i want to ask z ds da appropriate chemo or he must b tried for aggressive treatment??nd which z da best chemo drug for this case? Can he b given adj radiotherapy? I m waiting for u worthy reply thank you

He has incurable disease.
Further treatment is ti make his life easier.
Standard chemo is platnum based with 5fu,xeloda,tax combo ,if he can
tolerate it.
Radiation has no more role except for pain etc relief.
