I am facing excessive sweating throughout the body. I just recovered from severe temperature after 3 days. My temperature used to shoot up to 103 F after every 4 hours along with a sore throat and flu. Today, despite the cold weather, I am sweating so much. It is almost uncontrollable. I am taking an antibiotic (Caricef), simple panadol (only when I am having a temperature), and cough syrup (Dr. Koff). Kindly help
It seems you are having Upper respiratory tract infection. Sweating is due to temperature spikes. I would advise you to continue your antibiotic and if there is no response in 2 days change your antibiotic . When temperature settles sweating will also settle.
Hi thanx for asking .the reason for excessive sweating after episode of infection ,you could have still infection in your body which is partially treated .why you taking cough syrup ?????some infection causes a lot body sweating like diphtheria but still need to investigate the reason ......also clinical evaluation may be needed too .you can consult a good I'M consultant nearby you .

My temperature has been settled but the sweating is too much along with excessive breathing sometimes.
