My son is 3 years old. He is having problem with repeat constipation. We are consulting with pediatrician. Mostly dealing it with diet control and medicines i.e. Lactulose ( Duphalac) and Laxatives ( Laxoberon ). Furthermore we have to use Enemas sometimes because he feels pressure for stool but unable to pass it. I have also attached stool tests which are normal. I am looking for remedies or ways to manage this. Ideally also want to know best possible specialists in this regards in Lahore.

I would not think u need to see a super specialist for this after a peadiatrician. Making sure that the kid is having lots of fiber, water, adequate physical activity and regular eating with regular toilet time would be the best u can do and hopefully it shud settle as he grows

Thanks a lot Dr. sb. We are trying with food, main problem we face is that he time to time unable to pass stool despite pressure and if we delay a day or so his diet gets reduced and sometime even vomit and we had to revert to Enema. How can we avoid that? or any other remedy in case he is unable to pass the stool despite having pressure.
