Yes it's a rare side-effect of cardura.
When it's stopped your normal erection will come back

Dear 26 years old
1.Cardura can cause this sort of problem. If you are really worried about your erections, stop the Cardura.
2. If it is caused by Cardura, the problem would get better in a couple of days once you stop it.
3. Avoid any unprotected sexual contact while your prostate is infected.... !!
4. Ask your doctor to re consider the choice of antibiotics unless you have Urine culture, prostatic secretion culture and post prostatic massage culture done to diagnose the prostate infection.
5. Mainstay of treating prostate infection is appropriate antibiotic for appropriate duration of time. (3-4 weeks atleast).
