In your age group with no underlying medical disorder, PE is rare.
do get yrself evaluated for DVT etc. if no present, no need to worry.

Pulmonary embolism is hving wide rang of risk factors like!
Bed ridden pt..any surgery in the last 3 months..Pregnancy...any malagnancy..smoking..previous dvt..prolong travelling etc all these can lead to dvt/ pulmonary embolism..
DVT usually leads to pulmonary embolism that can present with SOB..cough..chest pain..
DVT can be investigated by ultra sound doppler of legs
And ECG ..ECHO...CT..pulmonary angiogram are need for the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism..
In some cases surgicall intervention is needed when there is massive pulverisation.embolism.
As for as the age is concern it can occur at any age..
