an abscess appeared on leg 15 days ago went to different Drs at last a surgeon suggested removal by surgery and performed that 7 days ago current condition of the wound is attached suggested cefixime once a day naproxen twice a day...wound is still not healing cleaning the wound 2 times a day please help what else can be done...
Do dressing with saline twice a day, tab augmentin 1g twice a day
don't take infections lightly.
did your doctor do any test on the pus he removed? those tests are very important to see the type of germs in pus and antibiotics required for it.
if your symptoms are getting worse, you might have more pus under the wound which needs to be removed.
see an orthopaedic or general surgeon.
Wound is dirty having a dirty material that prevents healing ,needs actual examination by a Surgeon who can give a further plan

going with medication ... current position attached... a hole appeared at the top and more blood and puss coming out of it....

I am facing anal abscess starting from the level of prostate and moving down to external anal opening. The TRUS showed a sinus track at 5 O.clock position.
