My son is suffering from fever for last 6 days. I started giving him antibiotic Omixim and now i have switched to Klaricid. He is having bad throat with cough as well. He was having fever 2 weeks back as well. I am too worried for him. I am giving him brufen after 4 hours along with tixilix and t-day. Since his birth he is having aczema as well. His hb level is not too good. Kindly suggest how to recover him.

with young kids we have to be very careful about self treating like you have started the oral abx with out knowing what type of infection is there ., most likely its a viral fever and only need regular paracetamol and ibuprofen syrup and keep him cool with fan, water +++, make sure he is passing urine well and to get him checked by taking him to the local emergency for check please.
it could be chest infection, ear or throat infection and treatments varies for every issue.
now that fever has lasted for 6 days you must get him checked by a doctor close to you.
