Asking for Father, Male, 60 years old, lahore
My dad had a stroke in January 2018 which resulted in right side paralysis and his speech is gone. its march already and we dont see much improvemnet in him since then we are doing psychotheraphy at home and little speech. please help or gyide us we dont know if we should come to pakistan for my dads recovery after stroke or not. any recommendation for psychotherapist and speech theraphist in Lahore or Gujranwala. as everyone is saying to take my dad to pakistan. i have attached his reports. kindly please help us.
Aoa dear,
As i can see, your dad has ischemic stroke(due to poot blood supply to brain).
Its better to find out whether he has any blocked vessel in neck causing stroke.
being a vascular surgeon, i deal with blocked vessels of neck in stoke patients.
if he does have such an issue, i will recommend you to get him sorted, else he is bound to have another major attack soon.
the way to check whether his vessels are blocked or not is a simple doppler test of his neck vessels.
regards.

My dad is 60 years old. this is his 3rd stroke. The first stroke was in Oct 2017 and he didnt feel anything jst his bp was very high and when went to the hospital we got to know that he had a 2nd stroke which resulted in memory loss but that recovered in a week. after that when he fully recovered he stop taking plivax and then in Jan this happened to him. the clot is in his left side of brain as dr. say here. the rest i already told u earlier. his speech is gone his very blurry. Do you think its a good idea for him to travel right now? or should we wait as we are currently living in Saudi Arabia.

Dear,
Its difficult to suggest without seeing the patient whether he can travel or not, i will advice to seek help from a local dr there and if he feels that he can travel, then u can bring him to Pakistan,
As i said before, he can be investigated there regarding his vessels by getting a doppler done and if required a CT Angiogram.
