salam,
numbness can be caused by the nerve being pinched in a certain area which supplies your fingers or it could a lack in the Vit B12 as well. it also depends you are right or left handed and what sort of habits you have in terms of using your hand , texting on the phone or holding the phone?
leaning on the hand etc
you need to get an examination done by the good doctor to find out whats causing this issue

Possibility is compression of a nerve at the wrist, called median, then the condition is called carpal tunnel syndrome, in this condition the numbness in the fingers is worst in night. Treatment is using wrist splint especially at night and some meds. Second possibility is cervical radio in which numbness usually extends up to the neck
