Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 44 Years old, Abbottabad
My mother had her operation 3-4 weeks ago of gall bladder removal through laparoscopy. She found out that her gall bladder had stones after several ultrasounds hence she got it operated the very same week. She was admitted in the hospital for a night and discharged the next morning. Now she has severe pain again in her operation site again. What can be the reason and how to treat it? Also she is very careful of her diet since then and had a bed rest for 2 weeks then she started working again at an institution. The doctors gave her Tonoflex, zinacef and rizek as her discharge medication. My mother is a high blood pressure patient and uses xtor every night for it. Kindly study this case and assist us.
If pain is persistant
It might be because of any impacted stone in any duct . U need to consult a gastroenterologist . And if thats the case u might need ercp to remove it.
Impacted stone in common bile duct hence review from surgeon who operated
