Aoa... My son has vision problem... Since 4 months ago he is wearing glasses... He has short eye sightedness... It's getting worse after each regular checkup... His contact lense no is 3.0 ..any treatment to lower the number and better vision?
W.s best treatment for now is continous use of glasses and regular follow up with an ophthalmologist.

There is no treatment to reduce it but it is corrected with lenses and once they reach adult age and if number stabilizes they can be corrected with laser.
It usually stabiles in late teens so hopefully all will turn out well for your child
Wslam. usually the no. of glasses increase with age during growth years. There is no proven strategy to halt this progression although research is ongoing by using different methods. Annual checkup and use of glasses is mandatory till the no. stablizes after which there are options for correction.

Treatment is wearing glasses and regular eye checkup. Usually it stabilizes in a few years. Till then there is no harm in wearing glasses.
