Asking for Father, Male, 59 years old, Lahore
My father is diabetic for last 12 years he is on insulin. 10 days ago he had a fever and vomiting with severe pain in abdomen and back with high sugar. Dr diagnosed kidney stone. And started antibiotics. It's been 10 days he still has fever and recent blood work show high cretinan and esr. It was less in previous reports. He still has fever around 99 and 100. Can you please suggest you what should wo do now. What diet should be given to him and should he fast? I am attaching recent reports and ultrasound report Thankyou
AOA.your father is having septicemia due to uncontrolled sugar. which is affecting kidneys .i woyld advise you to better visit me for further treatment.

This is emegency when there is fever snd raised renal function and diabetes he needs immediate consultation or surgery
Hi ,the Creatinine is mildly raised .
Most likely he has infection in urinary tract which is secondary to stones in the system .
Definitely need antibiotics .I will advice to do CBC ,urine and blood culture. U can send me reports here ..
I will also advice to do ultrasound test of abdomen and especially for renal system .
