Talk to Neuro Physician on Vertigo - Fits

when my daughter was 14 years old she had dizziness while sleeping, than it happened once in a month which last for 30-40 seconds. when it happened frequently like once or twice in a week doctor started vertigen. after that everything became normal. her MRI eeg and few computer based tests were normal. after a month doctor stopped medicine but after 2-3 days she had fits while sleeping. doctor started trileptal. after 15 days doctor stopped medicine and she went for video eeg. after 2 days she had second fits during sleep. few abnormalities recorded in eeg also. doctor started trileptal again. now she is on 450mg morning and 450mg evening dose from last 5 months. but from few days she had same dizziness which last for few seconds. please help us still we are not clear is it epilepsy or these fits happened because suddenly we stopped medicine.
