The first-ever UHS International Dental Conference with the theme of “Collaborate. Innovate. Cure” is going to be organized by the University of Health Sciences, Lahore (UHS). The conference will be held at Expo Center Lahore from October 3rd-5th, 2019 and will have participation of more than 30 foreign delegates who are coming to Pakistan from all over the world including (Canada, China, Saudia Arabia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam etc). Some very notable national and international dignitaries will also be attending this conference.
The conference is being conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Javed Akram who is the Vice-Chancellor of UHS and Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Prof. Dr. Javed gave an interview to MARHAM about this conference in which he shared his vision behind this conference and what good will it do to dentistry in Pakistan. Dentistry is a very under-mined profession in Pakistan but this conference will be a break-through event that will open gateways transforming the future of dentistry in Pakistan. This conference will provide the attraction for dental education and will act as an encouragement and pride or confidence among the entire dental community of Pakistan.
