Apple Cider Vinegar

The antihistamine properties of Apple cider vinegar make it a good remedy for hives. It helps relieve inflammation quickly by regulating the response of the immune system. It also helps in restoring the overall health of the skin.

Add two cups of Apple Cider vinegar to a tub of warm water and soak in it for 15 minutes. Or dilute the vinegar by adding water to it and wash the infected area twice a day. Follow the remedy daily until your condition gets better.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal with its anti-inflammatory, anti-irritating and soothing properties works very well for relieving hives.
Add one cup of baking soda and two cups of oatmeal to a tub of warm water and mix it well. Then soak in this soothing bath for 15 minutes. Or make a paste by blending two cups oatmeal, two tablespoons cornstarch, and just enough water. Apply it on the affected area until the condition gets better.

Aloe Vera

Another great reliever of the hives is Aloe Vera gel. It contains anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties which help in the reduction of inflammation, itching as well as redness when applied to the affected area. On the other hand, it stimulates the immune system to eliminate inflammatory toxins when taken orally.

Apply fresh aloe Vera gel topically to the infected area and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water and follow the remedy until the skin gets better.
