    • The baby is too large to travel through the cervix
    • The mother has complicating conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure

Q: How long does C section take to heal?
A: You should expect to remain in the hospital for 2–4 days and it takes a time of six weeks to heal completely.

    Q: Is cesarean painful?
A: Since the epidural or spinal anesthesia is given to the mother, the lower body remains pain-free during the surgery despite the mother not being fully unconscious.

    C-Section or natural delivery?

C-Section is a procedure that is at the discretion of your gynecologist and it is a decision taken by a doctor whether you require C-section or vaginal birth. It is always advised that you should listen to your gynecologist when making this decision and it depends on every specific case.
