Premature Birth:

This is when a baby is born too early, before 37 weeks of pregnancy. Low Birth Weight:

This is when a baby is born weighing less than 5 pounds, 8 ounces. Babies born too small may have more health problems than babies born at a healthy weight. Birth Defects:
