Due to prolonged screen time our eyesight is getting affected greatly. My heart aches to see even small children with a vision problem. Try near and Far focusing
Focusing an object is very helpful in boosting vision. For this exercise you need to follow some directions:
- First, sit down in a relaxing position.
- You need to focus on an object placed 5-10 feet away for at least 10-15 seconds.
- Once you are done with it, now place an object closer to you 10-20 inches away and focus again. Pressing temples
Have you ever felt that when you are exposed to mobile or laptop for stretched hours, naturally your hands just go to your temples and you feel like pressing it? Well, pressing temples help increase the flow of intraocular fluid in our eyes which boosts our vision and increase the flow of blood to our brain.
Directions: You can push against your temples with fingers for about 3 seconds and do this for at least 5 times a day to see the result.
The Famous Eye roll
The eye roll is best to exercise to strengthen your eye muscles. Next time when you do an eye roll while being sarcastic don’t feel bad about it, after all, you are doing an exercise (Joke intended).
Directions: For an appropriate eye roll, look right while keeping your head straight then look up at the ceiling, now slightly roll your eyes towards left and then on the floor. Do it clockwise and then anticlockwise, repeat it to experience the visible result.
Blink it away
Yes! In our busy lives, we even forget to blink. Come on, guys! Blink, Blink, Blink to improve your vision. Our eyes get stressed out after prolonged hours of screen time.
Directions: To improve your eyesight, sit comfortably on a chair and stare at a blank wall. Close your eyes for a half second, and then open your eyes quickly, repeat this and do it at least 10 times a day.
Rubbing your eyes can help you relax your eye muscles but make sure you rub your eyes gently.
Directions: For soothing effect first rub your palms together till they get little warm, after that place your hands on your eyes to transmit warmth of your palms into your eye. Now gently rub them. It will make your eye muscles relax and can enhance your vision greatly.
