Tea is one of the most popular health drinks in the world today because it has several health advantages when drunk in controlled amounts. It contains anti-inflammatory qualities, relaxing ingredients, and a high concentration of antioxidants and blood cleansing agents.

Tea, on the other hand, can be quite harmful if used in excess. It can have serious health consequences, especially when combined with milk and sugar.

9 Ways To Get Harmed By Milk Tea

The following are nine ways milk tea might be harmful to your health.

    1. Insomnia

Tea, particularly black tea, which is used to make milk tea, is high in caffeine, just like coffee. Caffeine overuse, particularly in the second half of the day, can lead to sleep disturbances such as insomnia. While little amounts will not harm you, consuming more than two cups per day can create serious sleep problems. One of the most prevalent negative effects of tea with milk and sugar is constipation.

    2. Anxiety

While some teas, such as chamomile, are recognized for their calming powers, drinking too much milk tea can have the opposite effect. This is because while a tea can trigger brain cells to help you relax, drinking too much of it can induce an imbalance in brain chemicals, which can contribute to anxiety.
While small amounts of tea can help you relax, consuming more than 150 ml of tea each day increases your risk of anxiety. If this condition is getting severed in you, then you should contact some expert psychologists of this town.

    3. Pimples

The appearance of pimples is one of the most noticeable milk tea side effects for the skin – these zits begin to manifest all over your body. Tea can help detoxify your body in modest doses, but too much of it can cause severe heat and chemical imbalances in your body, resulting in a pimple eruption. The face, neck, and chest are the most commonly afflicted locations for pimples produced by excessive tea consumption.

    4. Constipation

    5. Headache

You must have gone for a cup of tea in the hopes that it would provide you with some much-needed headache relief. Unfortunately, your habit could be the source of your headaches. Excessive use of tea or any other source of caffeine will not only build your dependence on tea (caffeine), but it will also cause discomfort and headaches.
During intermittent fasting, this situation worsens.

    6. Low Nutrient Absorption

Caffeine can really sabotage your digestion and nutrient absorption if you consume too much of it. Tea contains a substance called tannin, which inhibits the absorption of iron from our food! This is why it is preferable to consume tea between meals rather than with them.

    7. Blood Pressure Imbalance

Drinking too much tea can lead to a blood pressure imbalance, which is one of the most hazardous adverse effects. It can assist improve circulation, heart health, brain and nerve functions, and your immune system when taken in tiny doses. However, if you take too much of the beverage, it either raises your heart rate, resulting in high blood pressure, or it slows it down too much due to its soothing characteristics, lowering your blood pressure too much. This is potentially harmful to your health.

    8. Possibilities Of Miscarriage

Tea is beneficial to the body because it contains compounds that help relax muscles, soothe the mind, increase blood flow, and detoxify the body. When you’re pregnant, however, relaxing your muscles too much, having too many detoxifying elements in your body, or having irregular blood flow can all lead to miscarriages which is why pregnant women are advised to carefully monitor their tea consumption.

    9. Increased Restlessness

We usually reach for a cup of tea to reduce tension and unwind from our hectic lives, but did you realize that this practice might actually exacerbate stress and anxiety? Yes, excessive coffee use can cause agitation. And the simplest method to deal with such symptoms is to simply cut back on tea consumption and replace it with health varieties such as chamomile, white tea, or green tea.
