This Eid Enjoy Food But Don’t Ignore Your Digestive System

Eid-ul-Azha is all about yummy food. Who doesn’t want to relish kebabs, mutton chops, beef steaks, mutton quorma, Beef Pulao and Malai Tikka? (Is it enough to make your mouth water?) Eid is just around the corner and eating too much can cause bloating, indigestion, vomiting etc.

This Eid Marham wants you to enjoy the food up to your fullest but without getting sick. Marham is always thinking about your health and well-being hence This Eid we are here to disclose few tips to keep your Digestive System fit and healthy.

Stay Hydrated

Fluid is vital to keep your stomach active and healthy. Especially when you eat excess meat your stomach heats up, hence takes loads of fluid; water, juices so that your body flushes out toxins regularly.

Make use of Yogurt

Yogurt is packed with probiotics that are healthy bacteria which keeps the body healthy by fighting the effects of poor diet. Moreover, yogurt strengthens our immune system which can fight with the bacteria present in a meat. To keep your digestive tract cool and disease free, add some Raita (Yogurt with mint) with a portion of meat.

Fiber it up!

To save yourself from acidity due to spicy food, add fiber to your meals. It will help in better digestion of food and will soothe your stomach. Along with beef steak load your platter with vegetables and salads i.e. Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Iceberg. Moreover oats in the morning is a great source of fiber.

Eat on time

Believe it or not eating on time can do wonder to your body. It tames our digestive tract to expect when food is expected which makes digestion faster. Despite of Eid try to enjoy your meal within a time range i.e. before 8pm you should be done with your dinner.

Exercise

Have you noticed that why every health tip narrows down to exercise? Well! For our overall well-being staying active is of utmost important. Exercise maintains our body weight which is ultimately best for our digestive system. So enjoy Eid with yummy food but don’t forget to take few minutes out for a little workout.
