I heard of Dr Ghulam from my brother, who have worked with him. I live in England and work as Advanced clinical practitioner in a NHS hospital. . In England health care is very slow and if you go private they will rip you off. So I decided to do my surgery in Pakistan. I suffered from heart burn and a very bad reflux for ages and Grade 4 hemorrhoids . Dr Ghulam has suggested to fix my hiatus hernia do Fundoplication (anti reflux surgery) and hemorrhoidectomy at Patel Hospital under one Anesthesia. When i am writing this review i am on my 3rd post operative day and i feel much better now. He is an excellent surgeon very attentive to patients concerns and a very kind human being. He has listen to each and every concern of mine. Moreover the cost was next to nothing i really couldn't do an endoscopy on the same package like he performed 3 surgeries in one go including all test ultrasound and endoscopy. I strongly recommend him to both Pakistani residents and people from overseas. A big thank you Dr Ghulam Murtaza. You are one of the kindest people i ever met. Allah bless you.

The patient was my cousin we didn't get proper treatment at Hyderabad and then consulted Dr. Ghulam Murtaza through WhatsApp message and sent him our reports. Dr. Ghulam Murtaza instantly replied and asked to shift patient at Emergency of Patel Hospital. We went to Emergency and resident team Dr. Murtaza after initial screening shifted patient to ward and prepared for operation of very next day. So we were quite satisfied from his response and approach of proper diagnosis and treatment. We will recommend other patients to consult to Ghulam Murtaza at early stage if they have any problem related to Liver or GiT So that early treatment be done and save from complications.

My name is Dr Muhammad Ummer. Madinat ul Hikmah - Hamdard University is my Alma Mater and Karachi is my love, of course. Working as a medical resident with MoH Baha Region, KSA - my weight had increased to 148kgs due to my laziness and overeating habits esp Mandi (traditional dish) and Pizza. Since Baha is at an higher altitude , I developed secondary polycythemia and reactive tachycardia and hypertension. When I left the job there and returned Pakistan to join my family business and venture on to entrepreneurship, I put myself on a strict diet plan and exercise. With the help of my family's motivation , I lost around 25.5kgs. But by this time , I had realised that I have reached a kind of plateau phase and can't reduce weight any further without a proper surgical intervention. I tried searching for the available options in Lahore and other cities and consulted my colleagues. Frankly most of the so called big names available, I contacted personally , none of them was ready to explain anything to me and cater to my anxiety despite the fact I properly introduced myself that I am their professional colleague as well. The first time I talked to Dr Ghulam Murtaza, I knew he is the one to whom I can put my entire trust on. And Alhamdulillah, it turned out be Bull's eye. From the day one till the operation day and afterwards , he always explained everything with a sweet smile to me. And to add on to his credit, he arranged all the detailed pre op tests for me at such a nominal price that I know being a doctor would cost more than total fee of many so-called a-list doctors which many bariatric surgeons avoid in routine to save money and earn more. Due to Dr Ghulam Murtaza's vigilance, Upper GI found a unifocal growth in my stomach (which I again reiterate , would have been ignored by many surgeons). So technically , my lap sleeve gastrectomy turned out to be a metabolic surgery cum 0.9cm stomach tumour resection which later turned out to be GIST on biopsy. This nobleman removed my right axillary lymph node along with it and didn't even charge me a single penny for them rather paid my biopsy reporting charges from his own pocket. He provided me detailed me diet plans for first 2weeks, 3-4 weeks and further respectively. I was given proper prophylaxis for DVT , PE , etc. All his DOSTI team members from ward boy to nursing care, anaesthetist, OTAs, etc are your real time DOSTs. Since leaving Karachi, he is just a Whatsapp message away always answering my irritating questions with his signature smile. I was able to arrange stay for my family at a very reasonable rate in a very good guest house in posh area of Karachi due to his links. This one decision to undergo Bariatric/Metabolic surgery by Dr Ghulam Murtaza has saved my from DM, HTN (which has already begun to settle down), Fatty liver, Dyslipidemias, and cancers. In my case esp from unifocal GIST which would have been lethal in a few years. I didn't even even develop a single complication of this major surgery due to his proactive approach. God helps those who help themselves. Miracles do happen but we need to put in our effort too. God deploys men like dr Ghulam Murtaza to lessen your hardships. It's not all about the money but the originality of the man. DOSTI made sure that I receive a-grade trade of all drugs which most a-list hospitals don't do. Hello everybody! As far as I can remember I have battled with obesity . I remember always being the biggest girl in class. Before it use to be the baby fat as eveyone called it but later when I reached my early twenties in started affecting my mental and physical health to the extent that I became isolated . As I am a medical doctor my self so I knew that this extra weight is now the biggest culprit in my life because more than vanity i was more concerned about my health . Today marks one month to my surgery and I am more than satisfied. I have lost a total of 15 kg . The pre op was super easy with him , he takes his sweet time to explain everything in detail with help of diagrams - literally drawing and explaining everything which will be happening in the Surgery. Post operative care was super smooth . I recovered very well and was back to work at 14th day of my surgery! I started at 155kg and today I am 140kg Alhumdulilah- I give my life saving credit to DR GHULAM MURTUZA ! Usually we listen that these kind of procedures are only for elite class and only big names can go for it but guess what , Dr ghulam has made his life mission to provide this at the least of finances which is super affordable. The class of surgery and post care is state of art. I am extremely satisfied with his surgical skills and work ethics! He himself messages you about your health and the recovery , keeping tabs on the intake etc.. this shows that his patients are his priority. I urge everyone to go to him , take care of your health ! Obesity is not just a physical ailment but also effects mentally and morally .
