I am a medical student and was improperly evaluated and managed by Dr. Ayesha. She did not take a proper history, simply asked about my mood and started me on antidepressants. She kept increasing the dosage, added in a mood stabilizer anti epileptic and went against the guidelines to prescribe me an SSRI and SNRI together, with Ritalin and Inderal to control the severe tremors I started having. And despite the hefty dosing and regimen, I was not getting better. Thank God I changed my doctor in time and shifted to Dr. Jawed Dars. Now I am on only 1 SSRI anti depressant, lowest possible dose and am doing much much better. I was properly evaluated, thoroughly and receive proper attention and time at every single visit.
