I am a person fresh out of the teenager phase. Life has thrown some curve balls at me and I couldn't avoid them all so I got hurt; pretty badly. I had a post-breakup grief issue and I was unable to cater to emotional needs and tenderly deal with them logically. Moreover, my family situation was badly disturbed which commutatively had put a lot of stress on my mind. Therefore, I decided to opt for therapy with Dr. Waliya Zaffar. It was my first experience with therapy and with Dr. Waliya’s comforting and open to all ideas nature helped make it an easier process to express my thoughts and feelings. At first, I was expecting things to happen immediately and for results to come outrightly from the start, but I later realised therapy is a process which takes it time. Dr. Waliya’s patience to listen for over 6-7 sessions with me just explaining myself. The events that had transpired and with her just peacefully listening while analysing me as I spoke was quite commendable. It took me over 3-4 months of therapy to break free from this constant loop that I’d jump back to, however thanks to the consistent efforts and the methodologies applied by Dr. Waliya I finally broke free from this loop. At the end of it, I learned how to cater to my problems and how I should be dealing with them. If you’re reading my experience, and face a remotely similar or the same issue, then I’d highly recommend you to opt therapy as an option to adhere to and as a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Waliya is one of the best out there who’d be more than willing to aid you with your problems.
