As an early 30s female, with a developmental stutter since late childhood, starting therapy felt intimidating, but working with her has been a very positive experience. I have found her to be calm, reassuring, and incredibly supportive. I have been working with her for over a month, and she quickly understood both the speech and psychological triggers that worsen my stammer. I’m a health professional myself and have suffered severe professional setbacks due to social anxiety stemming from my speech. She helped me recognise thought patterns I wasn’t even aware of and is guiding me how to break them up. Her approach is patient and empowering, and I already feel more confident and hopeful about my progress.
