About Betagenic Cream

Betagenic cream is a topical medicine consisting of two potent ingredients. The first one is “corticosteroid” (betamethasone) and the second one is broad-spectrum “antibiotic” (gentamicin). Doctors prescribe this dual-action cream to treat inflammatory skin disorders when there is a suspected or confirmed bacterial component. The steroid component reduces redness, swelling, itching and other signs of inflammation. On the other hand, the antibiotic component helps suppress or kill susceptible bacteria that may be complicating the skin condition.
