It contains Azithromycin, a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Its long half-life allows for shorter treatment courses, typically 3 to 5 days.

Dromax Tablet Dosage and Administration

Adult Dosage:

• 500mg once daily for 3 days.
• Or 500mg on day 1 followed by 250mg once daily for 4 more days.

Children Dosage:

• 10mg per kg body weight once daily for 3 days.

How to Take:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• Take at the same time each day.
• Space from antacids by at least 2 hours.
